Drs. Christopher Felten and Joel Chan founded Gemini Diagnostics on the promise of providing exceptional consultative flow cytometry and hematopathology services to their community.
Both are specialty trained and board certified in Hematopathology, each practicing a craft honed by two decades of experience as staff pathologists and directors in national hematopathology reference laboratories.
Dr. Felten is the Associate Medical Director for Gemini Diagnostics.
He completed the Hematopathology Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Hematopathology by the American Board of Pathology.
He started as a staff hematopathologist at Impath Laboratories and Genzyme Genetics. He was previously Director of Hematopathology at Pathology Inc. and Director of Hematopathology at NeoGenomics Laboratories.
Dr. Chan is the Medical Director for Gemini Diagnostics.
He completed Surgical Pathology and Hematopathology Fellowships at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California (LAC+USC) Medical Center and is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in addition to Hematopathology by the American Board of Pathology.
He has previous Medical Director experience as Director of Hematology Diagnostic Services at IMPATH, Inc., Vice President and Director of Hematopathology at AD PathLabs, Inc., Medical Director at Pathology Inc., and Medical Director at NeoGenomics Labs.
